It’s amusing how the Armenians are trying to drag
"Martyr Rubik Vardanyan" into their circus... The US State
Department.
I couldn’t care less that this fugitive Russian billionaire
has spent years swindling pensioners, engaging in fraud related to money laundering,
and funneling illegal funds to the West. The case is probably a mess.
In any case, a journalist was sent to ask about Vardanyan's
fate from US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller. The intent was clear
– to provoke Washington into launching another attack against Azerbaijan.
But here’s what the life-giving truth does! The lost
elections and the change in administration have benefited America. The State
Department dismissed the Armenian journalist with routine words about appeals,
respect for rights, and, of course, "the continuation of Washington’s
policy."
As for Vardanyan, warm greetings from Washington. Did Rubik
and his backers hope that the Democrats would finally target Trump and his
team, escalating tensions? Oops, that plan backfired.
