Andres Herkel won't visit Baku within PACE pre-election mission

Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan Andres Herkel has decided not to come to Azerbaijan within pre-election mission April 26.

As APA reports, though co-rapporteurs' not being included the observation mission context, prior to, Andres Herkel had stated to visit Baku alongside with pre-election mission.

Stressing his decision on not coming to Azerbaijan within pre-election mission, Mr.Herkel said that after re-elections he would come to Baku, and late in May his visit to Baku will be linked with political prisoners issue.
