Iranian Defense Minister: I think Azerbaijani President can influence Americans

As APA reports, the Iranian Minister said despite all threats, his country was cooperating with the world community and would further do it.

"We want to solve all issues diplomatically. Azerbaijan is close neighbor and brother of Iran. My being here demonstrates Iran's intention to deepen relations with Azerbaijan. I think Azerbaijani President can influence Americans to take a right stance on Iran-US issue," Mr.Mohammed Najjar said.

Iranian Defense Minister also added that Iran never wanted any mediator for solution of Iran-US conflict.

Mohammed Najjar noted that Iran intends to expand military cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"We intend to deepen the cooperation relations. There exist new spheres for that. We also have treaty. We try to remove any obstacles," the Iranian Minister said.
