Azerbaijani and Ukrainian Presidents had phone talk

Phone conversation between Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev and the Ukrainian President, Viktor Yushchenko was held April 20.

Ukrainian President informed his counterpart about the results of the parliamentary elections in Ukraine.

Ilham Aliyev, in his turn, congratulated his colleague with the successful end of the elections, which were held in democratic form.

Both presidents expressed satisfaction in the development of bilateral relations emphasizing necessity to expand cooperation in the energy sector.

The conversation took place at the Ukrainian initiative, Trend reports.
