Jonathan Henik meets NAR Supreme Mejlis Chairman

Educational and cultural issues discussed by the Head of Public Affairs department of the US Embassy, Jonathan Henik April 17-18 in the Nachcivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).

Within the frames of his visit, Henik met with the NAR Supreme Mejlis Chairman, Vasif Talibov, Trend reports.

Opportunities of development ties in the above mentioned areas have been discussed at the meeting. One of the topics was arrival of an American expert to Nachcivan for 10 month research in the educational realm.

The program also includes meetings with Education Minister, rectors of two state universities, and visit to the NAR central library, where the American Educational Center is functioning.
