President accepts credentials from new Lithuanian Ambassador

During the meeting the Lithuanian Ambassador voiced satisfaction with appointment to Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

He noted that the bilateral relations were advancing steadily. According to Naudazis, the Azerbaijani community of Lithuania plays active part in the public life of the country.

The Head of the Country said the bilateral relations successfully developed in different spheres, within the European Union and other international organizations.

Aliyev touched upon the meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart Valdas Adamkus and expressed assurance in the further expansion of the bilateral relations.
