Foreign Minister met with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried

During the meeting the parties discussed Azerbaijani-American relations and the issues of Nagorno Karabakh conflict's settlement. Steven Mann, U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, attended the meeting.

Daniel Fried arrived in Baku this evening and plans to meet President Aliyev, as well as business and civil society leaders. From Baku he will leave for Tbilisi, Yerevan and Ankara, Trend was informed by the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
