As APA reports, Samad Seyidov thinks in this stage Armenia would do its utmost to damage the prestige of Azerbaijan in international organizations: "We should be ready for that, be strict, regular and work on purpose."
Samad Seyidov said that initiatives raised before PACE by Azerbaijani delegation prevents some efforts made against Azerbaijan, and plays significant role in bringing the truth to the world.
Seyidov expressed opinion of the statement of Armenian president Robert Kocharyan ("We will recognize the independence of Karabakh") and called it non-constructive position: "Armenia adopted illegal decision on integrating Nagorno Karabakh to itself in 1998, but now it threatens Azerbaijan by recognizing the independence of Nagorno Karabakh. Armenians should know that Azerbaijan will never reconcile with occupation. We have conducted peace talks, continue holding of it and will negotiate after that. The World sees that economy of Azerbaijan develops, and the position of Azerbaijan is supported. As much as Azerbaijan is powerful, we will be influential."
