Azerbaijan supports "One China Policy"

Azerbaijan has stated its support for the territorial integrity of China, following Taiwan's decision to scrap a council on reunification with the mainland.

As AssA-Irada informs,in a letter sent to the Taiwan leadership, official Baku said it backs the principles of the united People's Republic of China, according to the Foreign Ministry spokesman, Matin Mirza.

The Azeri government is against any forms or manifestations of separatism and supports the efforts in maintaining stability and peace in the Taiwan Straits region, the letter said.
