President Aliyev made this statement during his visit to the country's regions.

The non-constructive position of Armenia in the peace talks on resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict makes Azerbaijan reconsider its policy, the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, stated on Tuesday to an opening ceremony of Banovshalar settlement for refugees and internally displaced people in Agdam, Trend reports.

The President voiced his disappointment that long-term talks with Armenia yielded no results. The definite hopes pinned for talks dissipate due to Armenia's non-constructive position, he stressed. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan has always remained loyal to ceasefire regime and will take this position hence.

"Azerbaijan is keen on peaceable resolution of the conflict and a definite format has been defined for peaceable solution. Under the format the consultations are held with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and there are definite opportunities for coordinating the major principles of the peace agreement in the final stage. However, Armenia anew demonstrates its non-constructive position and displays no interests in coordinating of these principles. After Azerbaijan is to think on its further steps," Aliyev underlined.

The head of state also participated in a ceremony of stone-laying of the Olympic Complex in Guzanly village.
