28 February 2006 [10:28] - TODAY.AZ
Armenian citizens Arthur Apresyan and Roman Teryan, who took refuge in Azerbaijan several years ago and detained in the Ministry of National Security (MNS), have left Azerbaijan.

As APA reports, the spokesman of MNS Arif Babayev told that MNS handed them over to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees some time ago.

"I was not informed about them after that. Arthur Apresyan and Roman Teryan are sure to have left Azerbaijan," he said.

Mr. Babayev recommended applying to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees for the information on which country they have been handed over.

Azerbaijani side asked the High Commissioner to solve their problems. "We are dealing with their problems at present."
