The main subject of discussion at the 5th winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to be held in Vienne on February 23-24 will be dedicated to conflicts and ethnical minorities in the world, a member of the Azerbaijan delegation PA OSCE, MP Rabiyat Aslanova told.

As Trend reports, she noted, according to UNO reports of 1950-2002, the number of migrants throughout the world increased three times. Aslanova underlined that by preliminary data 17 million migrants are numbered in the world. She noted the importance of increasing the flow of migrants from one country to another. "Over 5 million Arabs live in France now, there are Turkish migrants in Germany, 6 million of Jews live in New-York, there is a great number of migrants from South Asia. One of the exciting issues in Europe is extension of their rights equally with the local population. That's why the subject will be discussed in Vienna", she said.

She also noted, the PA OSCE committee would discuss a number of other issues and appoint the rapporteurs.

Aslanova added, during the winter session participants from 55 countries will be given detailed information on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. She also said, they remained displeased with the document on Nagorno Karabakh by the rapporteur Goran Lenmarker.

"Azerbaijan and Armenia are equated with each other in the report, and no ways out of the conflict are pointed out there", Aslanova said, "This time Azerbaijani delegation will meet with Lenmarker."
