The meeting discussed interstate relations. The sides highly appreciate the roles of the Presidents in deepening of the bilateral relations, which are in the level of strategic cooperation, the press service of the Milli Majlis told Trend.

Asadov mentioned necessity of strengthening of interparliamentary ties. Touching upon the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict, Asadov voiced hope that the USA as OSCE Minsk Group member country would assist Azerbaijan at the peaceful regulation of the problem in the framework of the international legal standards.

Harnish underlined that multilateral relations existing between the countries would dynamically develop hence.
