Nasib Nasibli stated that, Musavat Party delayed its decision whether to attend the parliamentary sittings and also noted that, the party was tolerant to the allegations made by the press closer to PFPA during this period. N.Nasibli underlined he was against boycotting the parliament in 1995 and 2000.
Considering the allegations groundless, N.Nasibli also stressed that, he and Iltizam Akbarli haven't signed the statement on missing the parliamentary sittings on behalf of deputies from Azadliq: "When the bloc was established, no one told us that we should refuse the seats if there were few of them. Therefore, we deny all the allegations."
Ikram Israfilov who was elected from Sumgayit said that, it was wrong that the newspapers closer to PFPA took aim with Musavat in the past 2 months: "In fact, PFPA department in Sumgayit acted against Azadliq bloc. Member of the party Arzu Musayev nominated his candidacy on the same constituency where I was and Yusif Salmansoy on the constituency where Flora Karimova was a candidate. The PFPA department in Sumgayit was busy in campaigning these people, in fact, and the PFPA didn’t dismiss them breaking his promise."
Iltizam Akbarli stated that, he was not the candidate of Azadliq bloc, whereas, ADP and PFPA nominated a candidate alternate to him on Imishli Constituency #79: "Therefore, I waited for the decision of my party not the bloc."
Penah Huseyin stated that, he will determine whether to go to the parliament either by the end of this day or tomorrow: "I'll go to the parliament if Azadliq bloc doesn't make any concrete decision. It is not right to say that my attending or missing the parliament and re-elections will cause serious problem in the opposition. The parties will stop accusing one another and they will act together after 3-5 weeks. Such kind of situations were observed in the previous elections too."
Another elected candidate from Musavat Party Arzu Samadbayli didn't attend the press conference as he was cured.
