Head of Interpol's Azerbaijan bureau: "Criminals hiding on the occupied territories will be brought into the justice sooner or later"

The names of above 43 people were determined by the Interpol due to crimes in Nagorno Karabakh. Most of them are Armenians and currently live in Armenia.

Those criminals who made terrible crimes against Azerbaijanis can't go to 60 countries, said Madat Guliyev, the head of Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Azerbaijan. "More than 40 information about those who committed this crime, and their activity in 60 countries was limited. Appropriate measures are taken about them. These documents were sent to Head Secretary. If they travel to other countries they will be arrested and given to Azerbaijan," he said.

According to Mr. Guliyev, the main aim is to organize their search in 184 Interpol member countries. Their location in occupied Azerbaijani territories overshadows these searches. "The criminals who commit crimes in the occupied territories must know that they will be responsible for their actions sooner or later. Temporarily we can't take measures about them. But it doesn’t mean that we’ll not do anything in future."

Madat Guliyev also added that Rasul Guliyev will be arrested by Interpol and given to Azerbaijan. Appropriate measures were taken about it.

Special inquiry was sent to every 184 Interpol member countries due to assassination of Elmar Huseynov, editor-in-chief of Monitor magazine. Personal data about them were included to Interpol’s Central Information Database.
