Large-scale attacks of terrorists are expected to Northern Caucasus from Pankisi Valley

As APA reports according to an official, who wanted the anonymity, all power structures of Northern Caucasus have been warned that, these groups were expected to realize large-scale diversions in the Southern territories of Russia: "It is also reported that, hired soldiers were also brought to Pankisi Valey. According to the information, terror acts can be committed in the territories, where Russian military units stationed, in the transport means and administrative buildings of state structure. According to the unconfirmed information, the terrorists have already entered Northern Caucasus from Pankisi. They are supposed to be stationed in winter mobile bases in the mountainous territories".

The other information reads that, Russian federals have strengthened security on Georgia-Russia border lately. One of military experts of Dagestan stated that spread of the information about expected attack of terrorists against Northern Caucasus by Russia Federal Security Service Department now was not accidental: "In the joint operation of Russia Federal Security Service Department and Interior Ministry in Khasavyurd in Dagestan in early January, representative of "Al-Quaeda" in Northern Caucasus - Turkish citizen Ali Soytakin Ollu was arrested. This person was taken to Moscow after being arrested. The person, who had been to Pankisi Valey many times, is certain to be aware of the new plans of the terrorists there. It seems that, Ali Soytakin Ollu gave information in the testimony. Federal Security Service department issued this statement basing on the testimony. As for the Pankisi Valley, this territory has already become danger for entire Caucasus. Russian side attacked the bases of terrorists formerly; such operations are not conducted now. Georgian President Michael Saakashvili who considers himself as the friend of West and the USA, and speaks of democratic values, can not control his country completely. After his holding office, Pankisi Valley has become more reliable sanctuary of the terrorists. In reality, Georgian government bear responsibility for a number of terror acts in Northern Caucasus. It is clear for everybody that, for what purpose U.S and West fond speaking of international terrorism is silent in the terror acts in Northern Caucasus".

Military expert says that, after the arrest of Ali Soytakin Ollu, control over Turkish citizens residing and working in Dagestan has been made more severe. Power structures of the republic are taking serious measures in order to uproot "Al-Quaeda" network. It is not exception that some Turkish citizens will be removed from Dagestan.

It should be noted that Ali Soytakin Ollu acted in the group of Abu Khavsa, representative of "Al-Quaeda" in Northern Caucasus in 2002-2005. He met Abu Khavsa in Pankisi. Ali Soytakin was trained in the composition of 35-member diversion group and was an active participant of a number of diversions committed in Chechnya and Dagestan.
