Arrest time of Farhad Aliyev and Ali Insanov elongated for four more months

The information was given to APA by the court. Elongation of arrest time was realized by recommendation of the Attorney General.

Lawyer of Ali Insanov Togrul Babayev told APA that Ali Insanov was not brought to the trial: “Decision on elongation of arrest time of Ali Insanov was passed in the trial presided by Famil Nasibov. This decision was submitted to the lawyers”.

T.Babayev said that they will file appeal on the decision in the begging of next week. Chief of Committee for defending the rights of Farhad Aliyev Irada Javadova told APA that they expected that such a decision will be passed: “Our aim is to achieve medical examination of Farhad Aliyev”.

It should be noted that Farhad Aliyev was arrested on October 16 and Ali Insanov on October 20. 3-month arrest measure was taken against him and this time has been elongated for four more months today. Ex-ministers are accused of plotting coup, embezzling state property and other grave crimes.
