Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili phoned Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev yesterday.
According to the information given to APA from the President's Press service, Presidents expressed their satisfaction on the development of the bilateral relations in various fields between Azerbaijan and Georgia. M.Saakashvili informed Ilham Aliyev about the results of the US President George Bush's visit to Georgia. Heads of state of Azerbaijan and Georgia talked about exploitation of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev part in Azerbaijan on May 25; Georgian President said that he will participate in that ceremony. Heads of state discussed regional matters, strengthening of security in the South Caucasus and other issues of mutual interest.
