Ilham Aliyev received minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia

Yesterday president Ilham Aliyev received representative staff headed by Sergey Lavrov- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia in President's Palace.
APA was informed of it by pres service of President's office.

I.Aliyev called S.Lavrov's visit to our country important stage in the direction of expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia. He said of the political relations between two countries to be in high level: "The level of existing relations between two administrations of the two countries shows that the both sides has sincere will for developing our relations.

There is no unsolved problems between our countries. Trade circulation of Azerbaijan and Russia is increasing year by year; great achievements are gained in cooperation in the field of energetics and in other fields." The head of the state appreciating the talks held with president Vladimir Putin, signing of significant documents, agreements got during his visit to Russia highly, stated that, Azerbaijan considers it important to expand the relations with neighbor country on the basis of ensuring the mutual interests.

S.Lavrov sated in his term that, Russia shows great interest to Azerbaijan president's visit to Russia to be realized this month. Series preparations are held on concrete details of this visit. The guest stressing that there is no unsolved problem between the two countries, noted that, the matters to be discussed during this visit will serve the relations to strengthen more tightly.
