Legendary Azerbaijani Mountain of Seven Sisters - PHOTOS

According to legend, centuries ago in a village on the slopes of these mountains lived seven good and kind sisters.

They were so rich and generous, that were sharing their goods with everyone, regardless of whether they knew them or not. But these good deeds weren't good enough for the lord of Jinns.

He commanded to kill the sisters. When this news reached the sisters, they didnt know what to do, and in front of all, sat down on the mountains and merged with them. Since then, the locals call it Yeddi Badji (Seven Sisters). See photos below.
