New London taxis in Baku - PHOTOS

Not so long ago, it was reported about new London taxis to be delivered to Baku, and Azerbaijani regions as well. Reportedly, about 3000 taxis were delivered to the capital. Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport spokesman Namiq Hasanov said that if the new cars fail to meet the demand in Baku, existing taxis that meet the requirements will be used as well.

Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev viewed the cars personally upon their arrival. The cars are 12 TX 4 cars produced by London Taxi company, and are purpose-built taxicab hackney carriages. Below are some photos of the taxis. Scroll down.
