11 February 2010 [19:30] - TODAY.AZ
Since Summer is only a couple of months away, why dont we take a look at some of the coolest swimsuits that appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine. Who knows maybe you'll want to get one of them swimsuits for yourself...

Bar Refaeli was the latest model to grace the cover of SI's swimsuit issue. For 45 years, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has turned heads with its sexy covergirls. The News lists our favorites.

Brooklyn Decker was announced on David Letterman's 'Late Show' as the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model. The little-known model is 22 and married to tennis star Andy Roddick.

Model Julie Henderson. According to her Web site, this 5'10'' blonde is from Houston, Texas, and has been modelling since she was 13. She shares a spread with...

Not to be outdone is Jessica White who is also from Brooklyn. A model for Elite, her Web site claims she was 16 when scouted by a modelling agency.

Brooklyn girl Damaris Lewis. According to the Fashion Model Directory, she is a a dance major at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, the setting for 'Fame'.

Hilary Rhoda (above) will also be in the swim suit issue which goes on sale Feb. 9, 2010. She will be joined by...

Perhaps Petra Nemcova's 2003 cover is too new to be considered a classic, but we can't look at it without involuntarily reaching out to help her with her bikini strap.

Things we remember about 1989: The fall of the Berlin Wall. The World Series earthquake. Oh, and Kathy Ireland on SI's 25th anniversary swimsuit issue (the best-selling issue of all time). Give us a break; some of us were 11 at the time.

Let's be clear: While we absolutely cannot stomach "The Tyra Banks Show," we have to admit, her 1997 cover is rather palatable.

If you need an explanation for why Heidi Klum's 1998 cover is on this list, stop reading and look up at it again. If that doesn't convince you, then how about this: The SI editors knew what they had well enough to obscure more than half of their masthead with it.
