Once a fighter, always a fighter" 78 year old ex-boxer lands punch on mugger and holds him for cops

A mugger who tried to rob a pensioner came off worse when the OAP unleashed his boxing skills.

Nine-stone Donald Marshall, 78, was using a cashpoint when a man tried to snatch his cash.

The ex-army boxer, from Millwall, South East London, said: “I got a black eye and a sore nose but I managed to get a right-hander on him.”

Two passers-by helped Donald hold down the mugger until police arrived.
