"Street Fighter" professionals offering paid lessons

11 August 2010 [13:05] - TODAY.AZ
Professional Street Fighter IV players are offering their services for paid lessons. Tournament level fighters Justin Wong, Mike Ross, Martin Phan and Ryan Gutierrez are charging between $40-50 (£25-32) per hour to teach players over Xbox Live or PlayStation Network.

"Each player handles their lessons and communication independently which means that it is your responsibility to tell your instructor what you need help with or want to know more about," read the advertisement on EventHubs.

It added that while paid fighting game lessons are not new, it is the first time such high-profile players have offered their services in this way. Super Street Fighter IV was released earlier this year on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
