Massachusetts Man sucked into sausage seasoning machine

A cleaning man was sucked into a sausage seasoning machine in Danvers, Massachusetts, after it activated as he worked on it, it has emerged.
The unnamed man was cleaning the vacuum-type machine, which is used to season the meat at DiLigui Sausage Co, on Thursday evening when his head and shoulders became stuck.

According to police, he was freed from the machine and showed no obvious sign of trauma. However, Lt Carole Germano told The Salem News he was taken to hospital as a precaution. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
