Azerbaijan sets national selection date of "Eurovision 2012"

Azerbaijani Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company's Music and Entertainment Department Head Natig Abdullayev said the exact number of participants and date of the national selection date of "Eurovision 2012" become known.

"Seventy two performers will struggle in the national selection rounds to be started on Nov.28. Several musical groups are also among the participants. They will be divided into eight subgroups. As in the past year, winner of the week contests in each group will come to the final. Winners will be determined by summing up the SMS voting and the jury - a fifty-fifty," he said.
