Mansum Ibrahimov performed with the accompaniment of Elchin Hashimov (tar), Elnur Ahmadov (kamancha), Nizami Allahverdiyev (balaban) and Kamran Karimov (naghara).
This year WOMEX has brought together ethnic music performers from UK, Russia, Argentina, Turkey, Japan, France, Iran, Spain and other countries.

The opening night of the festival started with speeches and an extensive line-up of Hungarian folk and classical musicians. And then the next three days feature five performance spaces in the Koncerthuset, each with a full program continuing into the wee hours. WOMEX is the World Music Expo, a coming-together of producers, labels and artists from remote corners of the world to network and search out new voices and stars of the scene. Garabagh Shikastasi, a piece of Azerbaijani music, has been included into the CD album composed of songs performed by participants of the festival.

The trade fair itself is a key industry event, drawing the newest and most prominent artists to Copenhagen. The trade fair is registration only, but the performances are open to the public. This year promises brand new voices as well as seasoned musicians from all of the continents.
