International Puppet Festival due in Baku

The 1st International Puppet Festival (BIPF) will be held in Baku on November 1-6, 2011. Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic, the Festival will bring together 25 Puppet companies from 20 countries. The invited specialists from the UK, Austria, Spain and Turkey will hold several workshops as part of the festival.

An exclusive symposium dedicated to the Puppet Theater’s dedication to the dramatic art will take place on November 2 in Baku.
