Baku to host International Festival of Puppet Theaters

Baku will host an International Festival of Puppet Theaters.

On behalf of the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater named after Abdullah Shaig invitations to take part in the festival have been already sent to theater companies from 25 countries.

The Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater named after Abdullah Shaig will probably join the International Puppetry Association if the festival is a success.

The International Puppetry Association-USA was established in 1966 by the American producer Jim Henson. The association currently unites theater companies from more than 20 countries.
