Sweden opens Azeri painters' exhibition

An exhibition of Azerbaijani artists Eldar Babazade and Museyib Amirov opened in Unterberg, Sweden on Sunday.

The exhibition organized by the Azerbaijan Embassy in the Kingdom of Sweden will last till Friday.
Popular Swedish painters and art figures attended the exhibition.

Visiting Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov was also present at the opening ceremony.

Opening the ceremony, Azerbaijan ambassador to Sweden Rafael Ibrahimov said that it is the first 'report' of Azeri artists in the Scandinavian region. The ambassador stressed the work is under way to host Swedish painters' exhibition in Baku.

Azerbaijan painters' exhibition was covered in Swedish Bargslagsbladet newspaper.

Unterberg city is known as painting gallery in Scandinavian region. Soviet dissident and worldwide known painter Ernst Neizvestny created his works in the atelier located there.
