"Swiss Amaltea" ensemble gives concert in Baku

The Swiss “Amaltea” ensemble gave a concert on Thursday, as part of the “Uzeyir Hajibayli -125” International music festival at the Azerbaijan Union of Composers. Chairman of the Union, professor, people`s artist Firangiz Alizade spoke of the importance of the international music festival dedicated to the 125th jubilee of eminent composer Uzeyir Hajibayli.

She stressed “this festival will give opportunity to foreign participants to get closely familiar with Azerbaijani music and culture”. Along with compositions of world famous composer, the ensemble performed Firangiz Alizade`s works.
