Concert program “Spring, Women, Love…” in Azerbaijan

The first part of the concert will feature works by composers Nargiz Shafiyeva (an instrumental composition "Mahnı dağlarda qaldı" and a vocal-dialogue "My letter to David Oystrakh"), Elmira Dadashova ("Aşıqsayağı", "Sənə düşüb meylim" ("I Loved You")), Lala Jafarova (works "The Stringed Quartet" and "I'm waiting for you").

The same day, Azerbaijan Composers Union will host an exhibition of works by artists Museyib Amirov, Eliyar Alimirzayev, Mahmoud Rustamov and Rashad Babayev devoted to women.

Musicologist Jahangir Salimkhanov will announce the event.

The authors of the project are chairperson of Azerbaijan Composers Union Firangiz Alizadeh, candidates of Study of Art Lala Kazimova and Adila Yusifova.

The event will be co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Azerbaijan Composers Union and National Music Council.
