Tiger Woods refuses new endorsement?

Tiger Woods has reportedly rejected an endorsement offer from an Irish gambling company.

According to TMZ, the golfer, who has recently been dropped by several major advertisers, turned down a $75m (£50m) contract from Paddypower.com.

The deal is thought to have been for five years and would have put the athlete front and centre in all the corporation's marketing efforts.

Insiders report that this is a sign that Woods is working hard to project a clean image following his sex scandal.

However, Paddypower.com has said that it will come back with "an even sweeter offer" in the near future.
