EA Sports stands by Tiger Woods

20 February 2010 [19:11] - TODAY.AZ
EA Sports president Peter Moore has said that the firm remains supportive of Tiger Woods despite the controversy surrounding the golfer.
Woods issued a public apology following reports of extramarital affairs. The star's actions have led to have led to the termination of several of his licensing deals, but Moore insisted that his studio will continue to release games featuring his likeness.

"It was good to see Tiger address the public today, and we're supportive of his focus toward family and rebuilding his life," said Moore. "He remains one of the greatest athletes in history, and as a long-standing partner, we look forward to seeing Tiger back on the golf course when the time is right for him and his family."

EA Sports will release Tiger Woods' PGA Tour 11 for PS3, 360, Wii and iPhone this summer.
