Tilda Swinton up for playing Conan O'Brien on film

27 January 2010 [16:55] - TODAY.AZ
Ask for Tilda Swinton and you shall receive.
After the late-night time-slot shuffle on NBC that ultimately led to Tonight Show host Conan O'Brien's exit from the network, the comedian joked in his final monologue that he wanted the fiery-haired actress to play him if HBO decided to make a movie about his life.

And Swinton has agreed, saying she would take on the role with relish if it ever happened.

"I would just be only too happy," Swinton told Movieline.com at the Sundance Film Festival, where she is promoting I Am Love. "Yes, yes, yes, absolutely."

What the 49-year-old actress would like even more is a sort of Freaky Friday situation, where she and O'Brien switch places.

"What I really would love to do is get him to do some of the things I get to do," she told Movieline. "It would be nice if he were here at Sundance maybe, wearing this coat, talking about I Am Love.
