The Russian Drama Theatre in Baku invites everyone to participate in the ‘Open Dialogue’ dedicated to “A Midsummer Night's Dream” comedy play by William Shakespeare, Trend life reports.
The event scheduled for March 10 will give an opportunity to discuss the works of the brilliant English writer, the acting techniques of Meyerhold's biomechanics system (system of actor training developed by Russian actor V. Meyerhold), as well as the National Theatre Day of Azerbaijan.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is a classic example of Shakespearean comedy written around 1590 or 1597.
It portrays the adventures of four young lovers and a group of amateur actors, who are controlled by the fairies who inhabit the forest.The play is one of Shakespeare's most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world, including Azerbaijan.
For staging "Midsummer Night's Dream", Azerbaijan's State Russian Drama Theater was awarded the prize "Zirva" in the "For the development of theatrical art" category by the country's Culture and Tourism Ministry.
