The Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized another fun day of activities for children from orphanages and the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Down Syndrome in Baku on August 26.
The event gathered 200 children from children's orphanages No. 1 in Nizami district, No. 3 in Khatai district, No.2 in Surakhani district, along with the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Down Syndrome.
The heroes of various fairy tales greeted the children, who were brought to the event on special buses.
The fun-filled event, in turn, brought joy to the kids. These residents of orphanages and children in need of special care willingly played a variety of games and shared their joy with others with sincerity.
The children enjoyed sports competitions and other entertaining programs.
A truly festive atmosphere was created at the event. Children performed a variety of dances and songs and demonstrated their abilities.
The Foundation also provided the kids with gifts.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation made the comprehensive care of the younger generation and the pursuit of various humanitarian actions as one of its priorities.
Various events for children held under initiative of the Foundation are aimed at helping kids from families of internally displaced persons, as well as for children with diabetes and thalassemia. Moreover, the Foundation has provided funding for the reconstruction of orphanages and boarding schools throughout the country, implemented various projects for their students, and built new schools.
