Spain's famous Prado Museum, located in Madrid, launched its first exhibition for the blind, where famous artwork is being displayed in three dimensions, according to Pangea Today.
The museum recreated works by Da Vinci, Valazquez, Goya, el Greco, and more, in the form of paint replicas adding texture and volume, so the visually impaired visitors can feel the art pieces. The museum has also provided provisions for guide dogs and audio-guides.
"This exhibition is great," emotional José Pedro Gonzalez said. "Until now, the only way for the blind to access a painting was through the explanations from another person."
Due to the success of the current exhibit, the Spanish gallery will expand the initiative to other museums in the country.
