As part of an art project, the exhibition titled “Look” by Museib Amirov will be held in the Museum of Modern Art in Baku on January 16.
Amirov, the honored artist of Azerbaijan was born in 1963 in Baku in the family of well-known artist Arif Amirov. The graduate of Art College and Azerbaijan State University of Arts is an independent artist.
Many of his works are put on display in several museums of the world. Some of his creations decorate private collections. Amirov’s works were exhibited in France, U.S., Germany, Lithuania and many other countries.
Among the most great international projects where Amirov took part are "Art Exhibition", "Baku-Paris. 20 artists", "Orangeri de Senat", "Exhibition of Modern Azerbaijani artists”, "IMF Gallery", held in Washington, U.S. (2004), "Grands et jeunes d'aujourd'hui", "Espace Auteuil" held in Paris, France (2003).
"Look at life point-blank!”, a visual appeal of the artist to look at the realities by the critical eye is a reply to indifferent relations between destructive processes that are taking place in the world. What was created for the benefit of mankind has now turned against him... In the city, built by man, there is no place for man yet.
The exhibition will run till February 2. It will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 till 20:00. The price of ticket is 5 manats, for students-2 manats. The address of the venue is Yusif Safarov street, 5.
