A film about the life of Azerbaijanis during World War I will be made jointly by Iranian and Turkish filmmakers.
The shooting of the series, called after the name of the film hero “Ayatay” will start in March, 2015.
Script writer and director of the film is Iranian filmmaker Huseyn Pursattar and the producer is Jalil Askeri.
The film will be produced by Turkish “Asli Islamoglu” company.
The shooting will take place in the Iranian area of Eastern Azerbaijan including Tebriz, Varzagan, Akhar and Tehran.
In Turkey, the cities such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir will host the shooting. A part of the film is planned to be made in Azerbaijan.
Some famous Turkish and Iranian actors and actress will take part in the film.
The Turkish TV channel “SHOWTV” and Iranian “Namayesh” will broadcast the film.
