‘Legend of Arms’ exhibition kicks off at Heydar Aliyev Center - PHOTO

The opening ceremony of the 'Legend of Arms' exhibition is to be held at the Heydar Aliyev Center on March 15.

The exhibition will present arms and chain armours used in Europe back in the 16-18th centuries, the center told Trend.

The exhibition to last till June 5 will demonstrate 130 unique historical exhibits from Europe. The displays will include sets from the famous Graz Armoury in Austria, the world's largest collection of arms and armour.

The pieces to be exhibited are the genuine combat arms and chain mail used in warfare. Attendants of the 'Legend of Arms' exhibition will have a unique chance to witness the development of arms history and get access to unique facts and information regarding each and every exhibit.

A noteworthy detail to mention hereby is that to this day, the collection was only presented in Austria, the US, Canada, Switzerland, Italy, and Japan. Meanwhile, displays in San Francisco, Houston, New York, Washington DC and other cities succeeded in attracting more than one million visitors.
