Ennio Morricone: I am honored to perform in one of world`s magnificent cities Baku

“I am happy and honored to perform in Baku, one of world`s magnificent cities,” great composer and conductor Ennio Morricone told journalists at the press conference.

“I will be glad if you enjoy my concert, and I hope to feel your warmth during the concert. Thank you all," Ennio Morricone said in his address to the fans in Baku.

The concert organizers provided information about the concert to be held in Baku on January 25.
Ennio Morricone will perform on the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Centre. The concert is organized by the “Buta” Art Centre and supported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Italian embassy in Baku with the sponsorship provided by “Fireland Vineyards” and “Nar Mobile” companies.

Ennio Morricone is an Italian composer, orchestrator, conductor and former trumpet player, who has written music for more than 500 motion pictures and television series, as well as contemporary classical works. His career includes a wide range of composition genres, making him one of the world's most versatile, prolific and influential film composers of all time.

Morricone's music has been used in more than sixty award-winning films.
