By AzerNewsA new exhibition season opened with "Autumn sketches" exposition at Baku Creative Center on September 20.
On the eve of the opening of the new exhibition season, the center announced acceptance of works for the first exhibition it is hosting.
More than 40 creations by some 30 artists were presented at the opening exhibition.
Paintings, sculptures, samples of decorative and applied art and much more are among the exhibited works of art.
The main objective of the exhibition is to unite creative people and present their new works to the public.
"We have invited guests today to greet the season of fallen leaves together," the director of Baku Creative Center Emin Yasin said.
"After a long summer break we opened the doors to visitors to start a new exhibition season. For today's show, we have used the works of both professional artists and novices, who presented their creations to the public for the first time. We hope our guests will be satisfied," Yasin said.
The most lively interest was taken in the exhibition sculptures and examples of arts and crafts. For example, everyone in the hall took a picture near the unusual composition made in the form of a tree. Everything was hung on the metal structure -- from screws to batteries and, of course, there were hanging glass balls on threads.
The invitation to Baku Creative Center for the exhibition brought joy to art lovers. Perhaps, that is why the guests began to gather in the gallery long before the scheduled time. The atmosphere was cheerful and friendly, and autumn sketches became a reason for the gathering of old friends who had not seen each other all summer. Representatives of mass media attended the event as well.
The exhibition will last until the end of September.
