Baku to host 5th International Children`s Mugham Festival

The 5th International Children`s Mugham Festival will be held in Baku at the International Mugham Centre this October.

The event will be co-organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport in cooperation with the children`s society "Kainat".

The festival will involve representatives from eleven countries, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, India, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and others. Mugham performers from Iran and Afghanistan will attend the festival for the first time.

Performances of young mugham singers will be appreciated by International juries. Finalists will be awarded diplomas of the Youth and Sports Ministry.
