Azerbaijani, Indian musicians perform within 3rd Int'l Mugham Festival

Azerbaijani and Indian musicians have given a concert as part of the 3rd International Mugham Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijan`s Union of Composers.

The concert saw Indian musicians Meeta Pandit, Gyan Singh, Murad Ali, Dharam Nath Misra and Abha Pandit perform “Raag Kafi”.

The second part of the concert featured performance of “Shushtar” mugham by Azerbaijani khanandas Nuriyya Huseynova and Ravana Arabova.

They were accompanied by honoured artist Valeh Rahimov (tar), Munis Sharifov (kamancha), Tarana Aliyeva (ganun) and Eyvaz Rzayev (drum), Joshgun Sad?gov (balaban) and Azad Yusubov (ud).
