Shirvan hosts concert of int'l mugham festival

A concert titled From Master to Pupil took place here as part of the third International Mugham Festival. The concert was given by teachers and students of the town children`s musical school.

Speakers at the event touched on the importance of the festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijan`s Union of Composers.

The festival will see the conduct of concerts, international mugham contests, international symposiums, master classes with participation of Azerbaijani and foreign musicians from Baku and regions of the country.

The musical school students sang folk songs.
