By AzerNewsAn Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Adalat Valiyev has visited Kuwait to attend the events held as part of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture.
Azerbaijani Culture Days in Kuwait are held in Kuwait from February 18 until February 23 with participation of the Azerbaijani delegation headed by Valiyev.
Valiyev had a meeting with Kuwaiti Information Minister Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah to discuss ways of developing the cultural relations between the two countries.
Valiyev touched upon a recent second meeting of the Kuwait-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission in Baku, saying the documents signed during the event would contribute to deepening the bilateral cooperation in a variety of fields.
The documents on cooperation in different spheres including intergovernmental cooperation in the cultural sphere were signed by the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister, FM, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in Azerbaijan on February 14.
Valiyev briefed Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah on international cultural festivals and contests held in Baku and invited him to visit Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kuwait Tural Rzayev also attended the meeting.
As part of culture days Azerbaijani music concerts and other cultural activities were held.
The Azerbaijani delegation included the Baku musical academy named after Uzeir Hadzhibeyli rector Farhad Badalbeyli, the Azerbaijani state symphonic orchestra collective and soloists.
The orchestra concert, directed by the people's artist Yalchin Adigezalov and honored arts worker Fakhreddin Kerimov, was soloed by Babek Niftaliyev, Sabine Arabli, Azer Rzazada.
Azerbaijani Days in Kuwait were last held on May 10-11, 2011, featuring the Azerbaijani art people's performances.
Azerbaijan hosted the Kuwait Culture Day's in Azerbaijan on November 26 - December 2, 2012, which presented a photo exhibition of Arabian country's history and culture, as well as touristic potential.
