The Khoja, a movie by Azerbaijani filmmaker Vahid Mustafayev, will have its premiere in Manas State University of Kyrgyzstan.
A meeting will be held after the demonstration of the film made by ANS Independent Broadcasting and Media Company, Chingiz Mustafayev Fund and Bakifilm studio in the Cinematographs Department of Kyrgyzstan.
Employee of the Azerbaijan Embassy will present the “Heydar Aliyev” gold medal of the Turkish-speaking states Support Foundation to Vahid Mustafayev in the event.
The Foundation gives the “Heydar Aliyev” gold medal to outstanding personalities for their efforts to strengthen friendship and brotherly cooperation among Turkish-speaking states, as well as for special contributions to economic, social and politic and cultural progress of these countries.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, prominent Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, former Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan were the laureates of the “Heydar Aliyev” gold medal at different times.
Khoja is a tragedy and greatness of two loving hearts. It tells about the heroism of ordinary people. The main characters Yura and Mehriban were initially indifferent towards each other. But when the time comes to protect their land with weapon in their hands against the Armenian occupants, true feelings erupt in their hearts.
