Azerbaijani directors invited to join TRT Documentary Awards 2013

 TRT Channel of Turkey invites Azerbaijani directors to participate in TRT Documentary Awards 2013.

According to trtbelgesel.com, the TRT Documentary Awards has been organized to support amateur and professional documentary film-makers; to contribute to the development and prevalence of the documentary film genre; to enable audiences to view different and high quality documentary films from various countries and in the long term to form the groundwork where worldwide documentary film-makers will meet and exchange their ideas.

The TRT Documentary Awards is held in two main categories, namely national and international. The TRT Documentary Awards is open to all documentary film-makers.

Participation is free. Documentaries produced after January 01, 2012 may enter the competition. The duration of the documentaries entering the International Competition must be at a minimum of 25 minutes.

The language of the International Category Competition is English. If the documentaries entering the International Competition are in languages excluding English or include different languages excluding English, the English dubbed or subtitled copy shall be submitted to the Competition.

Deadline for the application is 25 January 2013, pre-selection is 25 February 2013 and announcement of the winners and Award Ceremony is 13 May 2013.
