Azerbaijanfilm studio to be reconstructed

. Numerous conferences, presentations and festivals were arranged in the field of cinematography in Azerbaijan in 2012. New films were shot and within the signed agreements the cooperation links with the foreign cinematographs were continued successfully. Noteworthy is that joint projects with the studios of Turkey, Iran, Russia, Great Britain and Georgia were also realized in the past year.

The latest news to this end is that the Azerbaijanfilm Studio and French company have recently signed a contract on reconstruction of the country’s number one studio.

As stated, a new legislative draft on cinematography is also under preparation.
